HISTORY
Ahmadu Bello University Press Limited was established in 1973 and incorporated on January 30th, 1978 with the mandate of promoting academic excellence through scholarly publishing (publishing and printing of books and other related materials especially for the tertiary institutions). It operates within printing and Publishing Industry with main focus on scholarly publishing. It pays an important role as a media in the achievement of the University main mandate of teaching and research. The Company holds 50,000,000.00 issued and fully paid ordinary share capital of N1.00 each

The Board of Directors is the highest decision-making organ in the organization. The Board composition comprised vice-Chancellor or his representative as Chairman, 2 Governing Council Representatives and the Managing Director/CEO as members.
